The High Powered A K Antony Committee has invited Seemandhra leaders tonight at 8pm for talks, to let them express their grievances over the Congress Working Committee's decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh to create Telangana.
According to sources, invites were sent to MPs, ministers and senior legislators from Seemandhra in consultation with PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana.
Meanwhile, AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh said that the Antony Committee might not visit Hyderabad due to the ongoing session of Parliament. He said that the committee would meet the leaders concerned on August 14, 15, 19 and 20, in Delhi.
Those desirous of making representations have been advised to consult the PCC president, he said. (INN)
