The Andhra Pradesh state Legislative Assembly today appealed to the people of the state to not resort to extreme steps like suicides.
The Speaker Kiran Kumar Reddy said all of our lives were important and no one should take their own lives. The Chief Minister Rosaiah said he is not partial to any one region and will bind by the Centre’s decision when it comes. He said we all must contribute to solving the problem, and stressed that people should not be provoked, because that would cause grave losses to our state.
TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu condemned yesterday’s lathicharge on Telangana lawyers in Delhi, and on behalf of the TDP, joined the Assembly’s appeal to citizens to not take extreme steps.
