Inter Board Passes 27,589 Students Via Grace Marks

Intermediate students in Telangana who were either absent or detained for malpractice, have all been declared passed, thanks to the coronavirus.

In a big relief to them, Intermediate students in Telangana who took the exams this year and were either absent or detained due to adopting malpractices, have all been declared passed, thanks to the coronavirus.

The state government decided to pass all the students offering them the required grace marks, given the complications for them already due to the pandemic.

Upon instructions from Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, the education department officials took the decision to pass all the intermediate students.

27,589 students benefited from the decision - 27,251 who were absent for the exams, and 338 students who faced action for malpractice.

Principal Secretary (Education) Chitra Ramachandran issued a GO, No 205, authorizing this.
