Intermediate Advanced Supplementary Exams Cancelled

About 1.47 lakh failed students will benefit due to the decision.
Hyderabad | 9th July 2020
The Telangana government today cancelled the Intermediate advanced supplementary examinations in the state due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy said that the government had decided to cancel these examinations to avoid the virus spreading among the students.

"As per the decision taken by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, we have cancelled the exams," the minister said.

With this the second year students who failed in the 2020 main examinations would be considered as passed, she said.

About 1.47 lakh failed students would benefit due to the decision, she said.

They would all get compartmental pass certificates, she said.

The results of recounting and re-verification would be given after 10 days, the minister added.

Memos could be obtained in the colleges after July 31, she said.
