High Court Takes Up Hearing On New Zonal System

The court declined to issue stay orders on the ongoing process of the allotment of the employees.
Hyderabad | 14th December 2021
The Telangana High Court today heard a batch of petitions filed on the issue of the new zonal system for the state government employees.

It however declined to issue stay orders on the ongoing process of the allotment of the employees.

A total of 226 employees have filed the petitions in the HC on the issue.

The petitioners told the HC that the GOs issued by the state government on the issue were against the presidential order and the orders of courts, and urged the court to issue orders to stall the allocation of the employees process.

Responding to the pleas of the petitioners, the HC made it clear that it would not pass any orders without hearing the arguments in the case. It issued notices to the state government and asked it to submit its counter in the next four weeks.
