Hyderabad | 18th January 2022
The Telangana High Court today directed the state government to take up the transfers of teachers in the new districts as per its last verdict.

Responding to a petition by the teachers to quash the contentious GO 317, the court refused to cancel it.

During the proceedings, the counsel of the government urged the court to instruct the teachers join the schools in the new districts as per the transfers made.

The teachers urged the court to instruct the government and the education officials to offer options for transfers within the same district as their spouses.

The court then instructed the government to give a reply on the objections being raised and requests being made by the teachers.

The court then posted the case to April 6, according to reports.
