The Telangana High Court today stated that the Intermediate board could conduct the first year examinations as scheduled from October 25.
The court refused to stay the exams saying that the petition was delayed and the government had already made preparations to conduct the exams, and it would not be proper to stop them now.
The ruling was made in a petition filed by some of the parents and college managements requeting the court to stay the exams as 4.58 lakh students had already been promoted to the second year from the first year.
