Telangana To Take Back Land From Rosaiah's Kin
The State may take back 1.5 acres of land in Secunderabad allotted to Nice Foundation, an institution run by Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah's son-in-law.
Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy on Wednesday indicated that the State Government may take back 1.5 acres of land in Secunderabad which was allotted to Nice Foundation, an institution run by Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah's son-in-law.
Speaking to media persons, Reddy said that the land allotment was cleared by the revenue, health and labour ministries of undivided Andhra Pradesh during Rosaiah's regime as the Chief Minister. However, he said that the Nice Foundation did not utilise the allotted land properly. Therefore, the State Government was seriously planning to take the land back from the foundation and use it to establish a training centre for the youth besides set up a handicrafts centre.
Nayani also announced that steps would also be taken to remove encroachments on the land belonging to the Industrial Training Institute at Mallepalle. (INN)
