Govt Asks NRIs To Adopt Bus Depots, Villages, Tanks
Telangana Transport Minister Patnam Mahendar Reddy asked the NRIs of the state living in the USA to help transform Telangana by adopting small projects.

Telangana Transport Minister Patnam Mahendar Reddy called upon the Non-Resident Indians of the state living in the United States of America to extend their whole-hearted cooperation for transforming Telangana into a Bangaru Telangana.
Participating in a "Meet & Greet" organized by Telugu associations - AATA, GATA, TATA and TANA - in the USA at Cuming Skyland Business Center in Georgia, Reddy said that development in both the Telugu states had accelerated after the bifurcation of united Andhra Pradesh. Stating that Telangana was developing fast in the last three years with Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao implementing unique programs which were being hailed and emulated by the other states in the country, Reddy said the the state would become industrially very strong with many investors coming forward to set up their units due to the attractive incentives and liberal policy announced by the CM.
Stating that the historic Mission Kakatiya project would turn thousands of dry lands in the state green, Reddy appealed to the NRIs to help the process by adopting water tanks in their native places and helping the water-starved farmers.
Also pointing out that the Chief Minister came to the rescue of the floundering TSRTC by releasing Rs 2,000 crores, the minister also appealed to the NRIs to adopt bus depots and give them a fresh lease of life.
AATA president Dayakar Reddy, Ashireddy Karunakar Reddy, Boddireddy Anil, TATA team leaders Sridhar Konkala, Gowtham Goli, Sunki and Bharat Matadi, GATA leaders Prasheel and Gandra Shankar, GATES leaders Prashanth Ashi Reddy and Venkat Kapuri, and others were present.
