Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao announced that the State Government would release a White Paper on the energy situation in Telangana.
Intervening during the debate on the energy crisis in the State Legislative Assembly on Monday, KCR also assured that he would lead an all-party delegation to New Delhi to make a representation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue.
Admitting that the State was facing a severe energy crisis, he said that power was being purchased from Chattisgarh due to non-availability of power from the North and Southern Central Grids.
The Chief Minister sought the cooperation of all Opposition Parties in resolving the crisis.
He asked everyone to rise above politics to ensure the development of Telangana. (INN)
