Hyderabad | 28th May 2021
Telangana DGP M Mahender Reddy today asked the officials of his department to enforce the ongoing lockdown in a stricter manner in the state.

He made these remarks after inspecting the implementation of the lockdown in the L B Nagar, Hayath Nagar and Vanasthalipuram areas of the Rachakonda police commissionerate.

Rachakonda CP Mahesh Bhagawath accompanied the DGP during the visit.

The DGP gave several suggestions to the police personnel during his visit. He asked them not to trouble those who came out of their houses to meet emergency needs, but said that the police should act tough against those who came out unnecessarily.

He also asked them to focus on the vehicles entering the state capital from other parts of the country.

Reddy also urged the people of the state to extend their cooperation to the police department by following all Covid norms.
