Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana on Friday hoped that the Congress High Command would take a decision on the creation of Telangana before the winter session of Parliament.
Talking to media persons, the PCC chief stated that the High Command would take an "amicable" decision on Telangana statehood while respecting the sentiments of people of other regions.
Responding to a question, he said that AP's Congress leaders would respect the High Command's decision, and that the PCC would not have any opinion of its own on this issue.
Stating that the High Command would not take a hasty decision on the controversial issue, Botsa said that the party would consider all angles before taking a clear decision.
Botsa also denied rumours that the Kiran Kumar Reddy government is in a minority and that it has lost its right to rule the state.
He said that there is no threat to the government, and dared the TDP to introduce a no-confidence motion in the Assembly. (INN)
