A couple riding on a bike was run over by a car at Kothur village under Koheer mandal of Sangareddy district on Friday evening.
The ill-fated couple, Nagaiah Swamy and his wife Jayasree of Karnataka, were travelling on a Scooty, which skidded near Kothur village leading to the couple falling down onto the road.
While the two were trying to get up, a speeding car coming from behind rammed into them.
The couple died on the spot.
Upon receipt of the information, the local police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to the hospital and registered a case.
