Rs 5 lakh Ex-Gratia To Saudi Bus Tragedy Families

The Telangana government announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the family of each of the victims who died in a bus accident in Saudi Arabia.

The Telangana government today announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the family of each of the victims who died in a bus accident in Saudi Arabia.

The State Cabinet approved the decision to provide the ex-gratia to the bereaved families during its meeting held at the Secretariat.

The Cabinet also decided to deploy a government team led by Minority Welfare Minister Mohd Azharuddin to Saudi Arabia. An AIMIM MLA and a senior official from the Minority Welfare Department will also be part of the team. Two family members of each victim will be taken to Saudi Arabia as well.

The last rites of the deceased will be performed in Saudi Arabia.
