Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) spokesperson G Niranjan on Thursday wrote a letter to Governor E S L Narasimhan that governance had come to a standstill in the state.
He said that the entire administration in the state had gotten stuck due to the absence of a full-fledged cabinet.
The TPCC leader alleged that thousands of files were pending in the state for the past six months, and that the people were suffering a lot due to that. The previous Assembly was dissolved on September 6, 2018, and since then there had been no cabinet, resulting in a grinding halt to decision-making, he claimed. Various departments at the Secretariat were gathering dust as the Chief Minister had not visited it even once ever since he took charge. The chambers of the ministers were also sealed at the Secretariat as per the rules, Niranjan added. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao appeared to have forgotten to expand his cabinet, he said mockingly.
The TPCC leader urged the Governor to immediately intervene and set things right for the welfare of the people of the state.
