The Telangana Congress leaders will call on Governor E S L Narasimhan on Tuesday to seek his intervention in convening a State Legislative Assembly session to discuss the agrarian crisis in the State.
A delegation of Telangana Congress leaders comprising Leader of the Opposition K Jana Reddy, CLP leader in the Legislative Council D Srinivas, deputy CLP leaders Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Dr J Geetha Reddy and Mohammed Ali Shabbir, and other legislators will meet the Governor at 11 am on Tuesday.
They will seek the Governor's intervention in convening sessions of the Telangana Legislative Assembly and Council to discuss issues including the farmers' suicides, energy crisis and other matters of public importance. (INN)
