TPCC Suspects Secret Pact Between KCR, Jagan
TPCC chief spokesperson Shravan Kumar expressed surprise over TRS chief KCR predicting victory for the YSR Congress Party in Seemandhra, and smelt a rat.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief spokesperson Dr. Shravan Kumar on Saturday expressed surprise over TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao predicting victory for the YSR Congress Party in Seemandhra.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Kumar said that it was strange that KCR, who was a known critic of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, had predicted that the YSR Congress Party would sweep the polls in Seemandhra, with Jagan becoming the next Chief Minister.
He said KCR's comments gave rise to speculation that he had entered some secret pact with Jagan even before the elections.
Shravan Kumar also alleged that KCR was trying in vain to hold on to the TRS cadre by making false claims of forming the next government.
He said that the TRS cadre were highly upset with KCR, and were planning to join other parties.
He alleged that KCR gave at least 55 tickets to people who were neither connected with the TRS nor played a role in the Telangana movement. He said that such moves by KCR had forced the cadre to think about their futures. (INN)
