Congress Demands CBI Probe Into Srinivas Murder

Top Telangana Congress leaders today alleged that "devils" were ruling the state as was proved by the gory murder of Boddupalli Srinivas.
Hyderabad | 4th February 2018
Spitting fire at the TRS government, top Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) leaders today alleged that "devils" were ruling the state as was proved by the gory murder of Boddupalli Srinivas, the husband of Nalgonda Municipal Corporation chairperson Boddupalli Lakshmi.

The leaders were speaking at a condolence meeting on Sunday that the party had organized at Nalgonda for Srinivas.

TPCC Vice-President Mallu Ravi alleged that the TRS government had got Srinivas killed as the latter had declined to join the party. He demanded that the state government order a CBI inquiry into the case.

Former MLA T Jagga Reddy said that KCR's family would not have remained alive if the Congress had encouraged murders. Alleging that the police officials were dancing to the tunes of the ruling party leaders, Reddy warned that the Congress workers would physically take over Pragati Bhavan if the TRS failed to shun murder politics.

TPCC spokesperson Dasoju Sravan and senior leader V Hanumantha Rao, too, alleged that the state government had intentionally gotten Srinivas killed.
