Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy on Sunday alleged that the two-day District Collectors' conference, which concluded in Hyderabad on Saturday, was a total failure.
Speaking to media persons, Reddy said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao did not allow the Collectors to speak about their districts. Instead, he delivered a series of lectures in the conference.
Reddy claimed that the Collectors had wanted to discuss about the damages in their respective districts due to the unseasonal rains. However, the Chief Minister did not permit them to speak about that.
Instead of the event being an interactive session, it turned out to be a one-man show of KCR, Reddy alleged.
Reddy also alleged that the TRS government was misusing Mission Kakatiya to benefit the TRS workers.
He said that the BJP was not against Mission Kakatiya, but wanted the government to take necessary steps to avoid corruption and irregularities in its implementation. (INN)
