Telangana CM Trying To Finish Opposition: BJP
BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy alleged that the Chief Minister was spending huge amounts to lure the legislators of Opposition Parties into his Party.
BJP senior leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Friday accused Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of trying to finish the Opposition Parties in the State.
Speaking to media persons at the State BJP office, Nagam alleged that the Chief Minister was spending huge amounts to lure the legislators of Opposition Parties into his Party.
He asked KCR to explain the logic behind encouraging defections in Opposition Parties.
He alleged that KCR was afraid of a major revolt in the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. Therefore, in order to protect his government from a possible collapse in the near future, he was buying out MLAs of other parties.
Nagam said that more than in the development of Telangana, the Chief Minister was focusing his energies on strengthening his Party by crushing the entire Opposition.
He also accused KCR of damaging the media, which he had begun by imposing a ban on TV9 and ABN Andhra Jyothi.
He also condemned KCR for praising the Nizam.
He said that the last Nizam had been ignored by his own family. However, KCR had been trying to keep his name afloat by chanting it on every possible occasion.
The BJP leader also said that the last date of October 15 for applying for new ration cards, pensions, housing and other schemes should be extended as the State administration was not equipped to handle the rush of applicants. (INN)
