Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said the people of the country had given a verdict even before the Election Commission had announced the schedule for the next Lok Sabha elections, that Modi would be the Prime Minister for the third time.
"The people of Telangana are also shouting Char Sau Paar (beyond 400) in the Lok Sabha elections this time," he added.
Modi was addressing the BJP's victory rally in Nagarkurnool on Saturday.
"Namaskars to all my Telangana family members," Modi said in Telugu at the start of his speech. He then proceeded to lambast the BRS and the Congress. "Yesterday, I saw the flow of people during the Malkajgiri road show. Many young men, women and the elderly stood on the roads and supported the BJP. During the Assembly elections, I saw how much opposition there was to the BRS among the people. They are now eagerly waiting to make Modi Prime Minister for a third term," he said.
He alleged that in the last 10 years, the Congress and the BRS had prevented the Central schemes from reaching the people of Telangana. "In the last 10 years, the development of Telangana has been the priority of the Modi government. But in the last 10 years, Telangana has been torn between the Congress and the BRS. These two parties together shattered the dreams of the people of Telangana. If the BJP MPs win from here, the games of the Congress government will not continue. This is why the BJP MPs have to win here. If there are more MPs from Telangana, I will be able to do a lot more service to you. If more MPs win, I will know of your wishes in Delhi. In the last Assembly elections, the BJP's vote share in Telangana doubled. Give double-digit MP seats to the BJP from Telangana this time. Listen to my speeches in Telugu with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on X (Twitter)," he said.
He also said that the Congress was now also insulting the dalits, starting right from the current Deputy Chief Minister who belonged to the SC community in Telangana.
"The Congress leaders sit on grand chairs, and the deputy CM, who belongs to the SC community, is made to sit down. And the BRS too follows in the footsteps of the Congress," he claimed.
Union minister and BJP Telangana chief Kishan Reddy, and the BJP candidates for the Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Secunderabad and Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha seats participated in the meeting.
