BJP To Meet, Strategize To Gain Power In Telangana
The senior leaders of the saffron party will meet on December 19, 20 and 21, and assess the ground-level situations in all the Assembly constituencies.

Telangana BJP president K Laxman on Friday said that the senior leaders of the party would meet on December 19, 20 and 21, and assess the ground-level situations in all the Assembly constituencies of Telangana.
The leadership would also chalk out a strategy to bring the saffron party into power in 2019, Laxman said.
As the elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh were over, the focus of BJP National President Amit Shah would be Telangana now, Laxman said, and added that steps would be taken to strengthen the party in the state.
Claiming that the SCs, STs, BCs and minorities were with the BJP, Laxman said that this was because the previous governments in the state had not provided any benefits to them.
"They are seen as mere vote banks," he said.
Laxman said that the party would specifically take the BCs, that he claimed were forgotten under the previous regimes, into confidence, to win the next elections in Telangana.
He also ridiculed the current bonhomie between the TRS and the MIM.
