The Telangana unit of the BJP has decided to hold a Million March on the 16th of this month demanding that the state government fill up the vacant government posts and thereby help many unemployed youth of the state.
The state president of the party Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that the party would declare a war against the state government through the march.
He made the announcement while speaking to media persons after interacting with some unemployed youth at the Chikkadapally Central City Library.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that CM K Chandrashekar Rao had showed how inhuman he was by not even responding to the deaths of 140 unemployed youth who had committed suicides demanding government jobs.
He said that the unemployed youth of the state had been waiting for the issuance of government job notifications for two years now. These youngsters were also struggling a lot to avail themselves of coaching and to prepare for the exams.
KCR had however given jobs to five members of his family but not to the jobless youth, he said derisively. 1,400 youth of the state had sacrificed their lives for statehood for the Telangana region, but the KCR government had completely failed to fulfill the aspirations of those martyrs of the state, he alleged.
He demanded that the CM immediately release the job notifications, and said that the Million March program would force him to come out of his farmhouse and act on the issue.
