CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka today launched a 32-day padayatra in his Assembly constituency Madhira.
The padayatra commenced at Yadavalli of Mudigonda mandal of his constituency, and will cover 135 villages in five mandals.
Party leaders from his constituency also took part in the padayatra, and gave a grand welcome to Vikramarka in different villages, with crackers being burst at his entry.
Speaking on the occasion, the CLP leader said that he had launched his padayatra to find out the problems being faced by the public.
He lamented that the dreams of the people to have their own houses and jobs had not been fulfilled even eight years after the formation of their own state. He also said that the government had not conducted even a single DSC so far, and that the people were being forced to agitate on the roads for the fulfilment of their dreams and aspirations. And to add salt to injury, the TRS government was illegally arresting those who were raising their voices against its "anti-people" policies, he claimed.
He claimed that only KCR and his family members had benefited after statehood for the Telangana region, which was granted by Congress president Sonia Gandhi. However, the Congress would soon see to it that the doors of KCR's camp office were broken by holding people contact programs and galvanizing the public, he vowed.
