Congress MP and former minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today called upon the party's leaders and workers to make the upcoming padayatra of CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka in Telangana a grand success.
Reddy admired Vikramarka for deciding to undertake his 1,400 km long marathon padayatra in the scorching summer heat, and asked the CLP leader to take steps to avoid any kind of heat strokes.
He also advised Vikramarka to hold his public meetings in the major public centres of the State.
He said that the party was planning to hold massive public meetings in Jadcherla, Manchiryala or Shadnagar as part of the padayatra. He added that he himself was planning to hold a huge public meeting in Nalgonda district, too, and that the party high command had agreed for the meeting.
He said that mini public meetings would also be held in Nakrekal and Suryapet districts.
He said that he would take part in the padayatra next Sunday as he had to attend the Parliament session this week.
