TAD-JAC To Move High Court Over Ola, Uber Fares
The Telangana Auto Drivers Joint Action Committee said it would move the High Court against the State government for not regulating OLA and Uber fares.

Welcoming the Delhi High Court order that was passed on August 11 directing Ola and Uber to charge fares only as per Central government norms, the Telangana Auto Drivers Joint Action Committee said that it would move the Hyderabad High Court against the State government for not regulating Ola and Uber fares in the State.
In an interview with the media, TAD-JAC convener Mohammed Amanullah Khan alleged that the State government had ignored the interests of the auto drivers for the interests of the cab companies.
He further claimed that Urban Development Minister K T Rama Rao was a partner in Ola and Uber, and had been sponsored by them so that he could win the GHMC elections.
Khan blamed the State government for the increasing rivalry between auto drivers and cab drivers, since it was being caused by the State government not stopping the latter from collecting lesser fares in violation of Central government norms. Auto drivers were losing passengers, and might need to look out for alternative jobs due to this violation, he claimed.
TAD-JAC leaders K Lakshmi Narsaiah, M A Saleem, Muhammad Azeemuddin, Farooq Bhai and Mukhthar were present.
