The anti-corruption drive taken up by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is being received well by the people.
So far, more than 10,000 calls have been received on the toll-free number 040-23454071.
Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Director General A K Khan on Wednesday held a meeting with the ACB officials to review the complaints received through the toll-free number. However, after preliminary scrutiny, it was found that only 499 complaints were related to corruption, and the others were regarding other issues related to various departments.
The Telangana ACB is now preparing to register cases against the alleged corrupt officials based on the complaints received through the number. (INN)
