Telangana ACB To Issue Notices To AP Cops, Leaders?
The ACB is to issue notices in the Revanth Reddy note-for-vote case to some AP leaders and policemen who sheltered accused Muttaiah Jerusalem and Jammi Babu.
In a new twist in the Revanth Reddy note-for-vote case, the Telangana government is reportedly getting ready to issue notices to some political leaders and police officers of Andhra Pradesh.
The Telangana ACB, investigating the case, may issue notices in the next 2-3 days to some political leaders and policemen who gave shelter to accused Muttaiah Jerusalem and Jammi Babu.
Sources said that Muttaiah, before fleeing to Andhra Pradesh, had traveled in police vehicles here, and the ACB has some evidence that AP's police had given him protection.
The ACB has also apparently gathered information that Jammi Babu played a key role in this case, and that he has crossed the Telangana border.
It is being reported that the ACB has gathered information of those who gave protection to the duo before they fled Hyderabad. The bureau aims to take action against the leaders and cops who helped him.
The ACB is however treading cautiously for now, and is gathering more information before issuing the notices.
