Teacher Recruitment, Contract Employee Regularization
Telangana will conduct a DSC to recruit some 20,000 teachers, and also regularize contract employees and hike the salaries of outsourced employees.

Good news for trained teachers awaiting jobs - the Telangana government will conduct DSC to recruit some 15,000 to 20,000 teachers in the ten districts of the State. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao directed officials to issue guidelines for a fresh DSC.
The government is also considering the pending issue of the regularization of contract employees and increasing the salaries of outsourced employees. KCR is learnt to have taken a decision on these much-awaited issues, too, and will announce some sops for these employees on January 2 following a Cabinet meeting, where he will discuss the key issues with his colleagues before taking a final call.
With these decisions, some 50,000 employees are likely to benefit, it is said. KCR asked officials to furnish the details of contract and outsourcing staff department-wise for the purpose, it is learnt.
