The attempts by the Telangana Employees Joint Action Committee (TEJAC) on Friday to convince the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders from Telangana to join in the struggle for a separate state resulted in heated arguments at the NTR Trust Bhavan on Friday.
The members affiliated to Telangana Employees Joint Action Committee on Friday made their way to the NTR Trust Bhavan as part of a 'peace mission' to persuade the Telangana TDP leaders to join the program they had aptly termed 'Mulakhat'.
As part of the 'Mulakhat', the TEJAC members visit political leaders and call on them to join the Telangana struggle.
Accordingly, the TEJAC members, with roses in their hands, met the TDP leaders at the NTR Trust Bhavan, and asked them to extend their cooperation to the formation of a separate state by mounting pressure on centre to introduce a Telangana bill in the Parliament.
However, the TDP leaders said that they would prefer giving 'Mulakhat' to their party President N Chandrababu Naidu.
This led to heated heated arguments between the TEJAC members and the TDP leaders.
Later, the JAC members went to the residence of MP G Vivek, and sought his cooperation in the formation of a separate state for Telangana people.
