Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) spokesperson Jagadish Reddy, on Saturday, alleged that Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu was acting as the representative of Seemandhra leaders to fulfil his desire of becoming chief minister of the state one more time.
Talking to media persons, Jagadish Reddy said that the TDP chief was targeting the TRS to try and weaken the party.
The TRS spokesperson said that Naidu was without issues, so he was jumping from one topic to another.
Explaining his party chief's meeting with industrialists on September 22nd, the TRS spokesperson said that CEO Forum had KCR to discuss business opportunities for the welfare of Telangana region.
Jagadish said that this invitation was extended to KCR since the TRS chief was the one who fought for Telangana statehood.
The TRS spokesperson accused the TDP of making the meeting an issue and also alleging that KCR had 'blackmailed' the industrialists. He wondered if meeting industrialists was tantamount to blackmailing them. The TRS leader posed a question to the TDP and sought an answer on how much commission did Chandrababu Naidu take from Bill Gates or from the World Bank when he met them.
Jagadish Reddy also reminded that TDP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy was accusing KCR of blackmail, even after getting beaten up by Telangana protagonists twice for his forked speeches.
The TRS spokesperson demanded that a copy of the letter by TDP leader Yerrannaidu sent to the Srikrishna Commission and Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee should be given to Telangana people.
Jagadish further said that both Nagam Janardhan Reddy and Devendar Goud were working to satisfy TDP president Chandrababu Naidu, but not for the welfare of Telangana region people.
