Telangana TDP senior leader Arvind Goud today said that there would be no loss to the party if Working President and Kodangal MLA Revanth Reddy left it.
Reacting to the reports that Reddy may join the Congress soon, Goud said that the TDP was a workers' party and not one of leaders. The party was formed against the policies of the Congress, and it had come to power within nine months of formation, showing how compelling its core philosophy was. The party had always had a better image than the Congress did, and someone deserting the TDP to join the it vanquished would be poor judgement, he said. There were incidents when leaders even more senior than Revanth Reddy had left the party earlier, but such leaders had again come back to the TDP fold after realizing their blunders, Goud said.
