YSRCP MLA Srikanth Reddy on Wednesday alleged that the beginning of the debate on the Telangana Bill in the State Legislative Assembly shows that the Telugu Desam Party has a secret understanding with the Congress.
Speaking to media persons at the Assembly's media point, Srikanth Reddy said that the announcement by Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy in the House, stating that the government was providing the information sought by the TDP members, clearly shows that both the parties are in some sort of secret pact. He said that the beginning of the debate immediately after the minister's announcement strengthens the YSRCP's allegation.
Srikanth Reddy condemned the government for ignoring the appeal of YSRCP MLAs to pass a resolution to keep Andhra Pradesh united. He also accused the TDP MLAs of insulting Seemandhra people by ending their protest in the House. (INN)
