Launching a scathing attack on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, TDP leader Revanth Reddy today said that a political "Nirbhaya" case should be filed against KCR.
Speaking to the media, Reddy alleged that KCR had given MLC tickets to those who opposed Telangana, and failed to give importance or any posts to those like Kodandaram and Devi Prasad who had fought for a separate state.
He also alleged that KCR had belittled the institutions of the Governor, Speaker and Assembly Secretary.
He urged members to exercise their vote as per their conscience in the upcoming MLC elections and teach a lesson to KCR who had advocated value-based politics during his party meeting at Nagarjunasagar but was now working against his own utterances.
Reddy also demanded an open ballot system for the MLC elections, as in the Rajya Sabha elections. (NSS)
