Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari today demanded that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu face a lie detector test if he was not involved in the "Note-for-Vote" row.
Talking to mediapersons on Tuesday, Srihari said that Naidu's failure to condemn the incident itself proved beyond doubt his involvement in the case.
Blasting Naidu for making a hue and cry, the Deputy CM asked him to resign honorably owning moral responsibility for the scam.
Accusing Naidu of hatching conspiracies against the Telangana government, Srihari asked the people of the two Telugu states to understand the AP CM's corrupt activities.
Refuting charges that Naidu's phones were being tapped by the TRS government, Srihari said that the ACB had caught TDP leader Revanth Reddy from other information.
"The TRS government is in no way concerned with the issue, and it is the investigating agency that is doing its job," he asserted.
He also took serious exception to Naidu's outbursts against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Naidu's direct involvement in the infamous bribery case put the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to shame, he stated.
He suggested that the AP Chief Minister refrain from attempting to disturbing the law and order in Hyderabad with his provocative statements. (NSS)
