BRS MLA Thatikonda Rajaiah assumed charge as the Rythu Bandhu Samithi State President today.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajaiah, who represents the Station Ghanpur Assembly constituency of Jangaon district in the Telangana Assembly, thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, and promised that he would strive hard for the welfare of farmers.
Rajaiah will continue in the post for a period of two years.
BRS president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has denied the party ticket for the Station Ghanpur Assembly constituency for the upcoming Assembly elections to Rajaiah, and instead gave the ticket to former deputy chief minister and MLC Kadiyam Srihari.
Rajaiah had cried in public after that, and the party assured him that he would be compensated in some way.
