State minister T G Venkatesh ruled out the possibility of an early dissolution of the state Legislative Assembly to thwart the Telangana Bill.
Talking to media persons at the Secretariat media point here on Wednesday, Venkatesh said that the Assembly is the best forum to discuss public issues, and that there are no proposals to dissolve the Assembly to avoid facing the Telangana Bill.
However, he said that the it is the prerogative of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to convene the session.
He added that neither the Governor nor the Speaker could intervene on convening a session of the Legislative Assembly.
Venkatesh further mentioned that in Kurnool, there is a positive response to the proposal to form a Rayala-Telangana state.
