Over 13,60,000 students are all set to write their life-defining school end 10th standard examinations from tomorrow. Conducted by the state board, these exams will be held at centres all over the state, and strict rules have been made clear to the students. For example, students will not be allowed into examination halls if they’re late by more than half an hour.
And on a grim note, the ugly reality of student suicides reared its head even before the exam began - a student of Warangal district reportedly consumed pesticide and killed himself because he was not given the hall ticket for the exam as he hadn’t paid the fees.
