The Andhra Pradesh government has postponed the SSC board examinations which were scheduled to be held from March 31.
Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh announced the SSC board and the state government's decision to postpone the 10th class examinations by two weeks, keeping in view the state lockdown till March 31, as a preventive measure due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
Speaking to the media, the Suresh said the government would review the situation after March 31 and announce the new examination schedule.
The decision to postpone the exams was taken in a high-level review meeting chaired by Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Tuesday morning.
