AP Cancels SSC And Inter Exams, Passes All Students

The AP government today announced that all 10th and Intermediate students were being declared passed, to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

In a reprieve to many parents and students, the?Andhra Pradesh government today announced that all 10th class and Intermediate students of the state were being declared passed without any examinations, to prevent the spread of the coronavirus cases.

The AP government has cancelled all these examinations for the safety of the students, Education Minister A Suresh?informed the media in Amaravathi.

He said that as per directions of Chief?Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy,?the government had taken a key decision to declare all 10th class and all Intermediate first and second year students as passed.?

There will be no supplementary exams for Intermediate and all failed candidates were also being declared passed now, he said.

AP has followed the Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry governments which have taken similar decisions.
