Telangana Political Joint Action Committee Chairman M Kondandaram, on Wednesday, demanded that the Union Cabinet endorse the decision taken by the UPA Coordination Committee and the Congress Working Committee to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh to create a Telangana state.
Talking to reporters, Kondadaram said that the Union Cabinet should pass a resolution at the earliest in order to hasten the process of formation of a Telangana state.
He said that the Centre must not delay the process again and complicate the situation in both the Telangana and Seemandhra regions.
Kondandaram maintained that Telangana people have no animosity or hatred towards the people of the Seemandhra region. He sought the cooperation of the citizens of Seemandhra and its leaders, in formation of Telangana. He also expressed regret that certain Seemandhra leaders were trying to stall the formation of Telangana. (INN)
