Demanding that the centre address the Telangana state formation issue by March 5th, Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers (TNGO) Association on Sunday threatened to intensify their agitation.
Talking to media persons, TNGO State Secretary Devi Prasad stated that the Centre should respond to the Telangana state demand by March 5th.
Threatening the Centre and state government of serious consequences if they failed to address the problem by March 5th, Devi Prasad said that the employees would not attend to duties until the state formation, and stall the administration by staging rallies and dharnas across Telangana districts.
He demanded that the government set up a judicial commission for the implementation of GO 610 on free zone issue.
Devi Prasad also warned the government of serious consequences if it failed to pay salaries for the employees who participated in the non-cooperation agitation demanding introduction of Telangana bill.
He said that the government should not enforce 'no work, no pay' rule against the employees, and pay the salaries on time.
The TNGO's State Secretary also called on ministers to stand by their statement that they would not implement 'no work, no payment' rule against employees who participated the non-cooperation agitation.
He said that the agitation will not be called off due to the financial condition of employees.
