Sircilla, Jangaon, Gadwal To Become New Districts

After a series of protests from across Telangana by the people and politicians alike demanding district status for Jangaon and Sircilla, the Telangana government, as per the TRS leaders, decided to carve out the regions into new districts.

TRS MP B Vinod Kumar, who attended a crucial review meeting held by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at the camp office, later told the media that KCR had given a go ahead for the creation of the new Siricilla and Jangaon districts.

He also said that the CM was most likely to make Gadwal the headquarters of a new district by the same name.

Speaking on the protests by the people and some politicians recently over the issue, he said that KCR would never take a crucial step such as this without the consent of the public, and that he (the CM) would always put people's aspirations before of politics.
