There will be short and delayed water supply in the many of the KDWS Phase-I and II areas on Wednesday.
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) on Monday informed that due to electrical jumpering (power supply connection) from the Krishna Phase-I & II to the Krishna Phase-III sub-stations involving the Kodandapur, Nasarlapally, Godakondla and WTP Inter-Connection pipeline at Kodandapur on January 7 from 9am to 1pm, there will be a 4-hour shutdown.
Therefore, there will be short and delayed water supply in the many of the KDWS Phase-I and II areas on Wednesday.
The affected areas in Krishna Phase-I are Miralam, Misrigunj, Jahanuma, Vattepally, Aliabad reservoir areas, Gowlipura, Talabkatta, Mogulpura, Santhoshnagar, Vinaynagar, Vaishalinagar, Chanchalguda, Yakathpura, Malakpet, Madannapet, Asmangadh, Moosarambagh, parts of Dilsukhnagar & Saidabad, Narayanguda, Boggulakunta, Shivam, Adikmet, Chilkalguda, Baghlingampally, Amberpet and Ramanthapur.
The affected areas in Krishna Phase-II, Ring Main-I are the Sahebnagar reservoir areas, the Balapur reservoir areas, Mailardevpally, Rajendranagar, Hyderguda, Kishanbagh, Asifnagar, the Prashasan Nagar reservoir areas, Madhapur, Gachibowli, and part of the Lingampally reservoir areas.
In Ring Main-II, the affected areas will be the Maredpally reservoir areas of West Marredpally, Sitaphalmandi, Bhoiguda, Regimental Bazar, the Tarnaka and Lalapet reservoir area, the Control Room areas of Cantonment, MES & Railways, the Moula-ali reservoir areas, Nacharam, Ellugutta Reservoir, Ramanthapur, the Beerappagadda and Uppal areas, the Sainikpuri reservoir area, the Kailashgiri reservoir area and the Chanakyapuri reservoir area.
The HMWSSB has requested customers to store drinking water in advance to avoid any inconvenience. (INN)
