Residents of Chiranjeevi Nagar Colony in Miyapur were in for a lot of disappointment again on Thursday morning when they saw muddy water coming out of the drinking water pipelines of the Hyderabad Metro Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB).
The residents were at a loss for words - and for drinking water. They claimed that it was the second time that they had received such water.
"We have been facing this problem for the last couple of days. Moreover, we are also getting water only once in every four days for the last two weeks. Earlier, we used to get water every alternate day," they said.
The residents immediately lodged a complaint with water board authorities. However, there was no reassuring reaction from the officials concerned.
