Union Minister Killi Kruparani on Sunday reiterated that the Union ministers from Seemandhra region were ready resign en masse to stop the division of Andhra Pradesh.
Participating in a Samaikhyandhra program in Srikakulam, Kruparani said that the Seemandhra leaders would make representations to the Antony Committee on the implications of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. However, she said that the leaders would resign en masse if they failed to convince the Centre to reverse its decision.
She even claimed that she was carrying her resignation letter in her purse.
Medical Education Minister Kondru Murali Mohan, former minister B Dharmana Prasada Rao and other leaders said that the Centre could constitute a second States Reorganisation Commission for a detailed, in-depth and scientific study of the implications of the division of Andhra Pradesh.
They said that they would continue to oppose bifurcation and prevent the same at any cost. (INN)
