AICC secretary and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, on Tuesday, accused Seemandhra leaders of creating differences among the Telugu-speaking populace.
Talking to reporters, Ponguleti said that certain Seemandhra leaders were using unparliamentary language and provocative statements on the Telangana issue.
He said that such behaviour would create enmity among the Telugu-speaking population. He added that the division of Andhra Pradesh was on geographical lines due to economic factors, and that the entire population continues to speak the same language and share more or less the same culture.
Ponguleti said that the Centre is planning to give Bhadrachalam to Andhra Pradesh after bifurcation, and added that a representation would be made to the High Powered Committee to ensure that Bhadrachalam remains part of Telangana. (INN)
