Section 144 Around All SSC Exam Centres

Commissioner Anurag Sharma issued a prohibition on the assembling of persons around 500 yards of all centres of the SSC examinations that began across the state on Friday.

City Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma, in a notification, issued a prohibition on the assembling of persons around 500 yards of all centres of the SSC examinations that began across the state on Friday. The examinations will conclude on 9 April.

Police officers, military personnel, home guards on duty, the flying squad of the Education Department, and bonafide funeral processions are exempted from the operation of this order. The notification also stated that any person violating the above orders shall be liable for prosecution under section 144 Cr.PC. The orders, which came into effect from Friday 6am, will remain in force till 6am on 10 April. (INN)
