Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal on Saturday announced that he would submit his resignation again, this time in the Speaker's format.
Talking to reporters at the club house of the Ministers' Quarters after a meeting of Seemandhra leaders, Lagadapati said that he would resign demanding that the Centre keep the state united.
It may be mentioned here that Lagadapati Rajagopal was among six Congress MPs who resigned from their post on August 2 in protest against the Congress Working Committee's decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh to carve out a Telangana state.
The other MPs who had resigned from their post were Harsha Kumar, Anantha Venkatarami Reddy, Sai Prathap, Vundalli Aruna Kumar and K V P Ramachandra Rao. All of them had sent in their resignation letters to the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Secretariat. (INN)
