BJP MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy, on Monday, alleged that the ongoing agitation in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema is part of a conspiracy hatched by the Congress to further delay the formation of Telangana.
Speaking to media persons in the Assembly premises, Nagam alleged that the Samaikyandhra agitation is superficial and is being carried out to delay the process of formation of a Telangana state.
He said Congress leaders are behind the agitation, and that people are being instigated to participate in it.
Demanding that the Congress-led UPA government introduce the Telangana Bill in the ongoing monsoon session of Parliament, Nagam said that the Bharatiya Janata Party would support the bill if the Congress falls short of numbers to pass it in both the Houses of Parliament. (INN)
